OverviewThe MOTOMAN SP185R is a 6-axis shelf-mounted spot welding and handling robot. With a maximum working range of 3140 mm it significantly extends the workspace below its installation level and is designed for elevated mounting with a downward working orientation. Maximum payload is 185 kg (including C-adapter), enabling use with a wide range of spot-welding guns and grippers, including servo-controlled welding guns with an integrated 7th axis and robot-supported gun compensation. The robot is controlled by the compact MOTOMAN YRC1000 controller and uses Yaskawa Sigma7 servo drive technology for high dynamics, energy efficiency and short cycle times. Typical applications include spot welding and material handling on steel structures.
