Description
KiVibe Miniature triaxial IEPE accelerometers (Type 8011A) are intended for structural testing where space and mass are constrained, e.g., satellites, printed circuit boards and compact components. The integrated PiezoStar sensor element minimizes thermal sensitivity drift and, combined with low-noise signal conditioning, enables a wide usable frequency range. Case isolation reduces noise in environments with high electromagnetic interference (for example electric motors). The welded titanium housing provides a robust yet lightweight enclosure. The integrated cable is secured to the sensor using a patented attachment to ensure mechanical reliability and ease of handling during demanding installations. The cable terminates with a standard four-pin industrial connector (1/4-28 UNF pos.) and the sensor supports TEDS for electronic identification.
