DescriptionStrain gauges are applied to the flexural diaphragms of the load cell and provide a bridge output voltage proportional to the measured load during concentric application. The Type 4576A load cell uses a strain gauge full bridge. A metric thread is cut in the central axis to introduce the measurement force via a load button or an application-specific screw part. Lateral forces within an angular range of ±2.5° to the horizontal can be neglected; larger lateral forces must be diverted from the sensor by mechanical means. For best results mount the Type 4576A on a plane flat surface using the integral screw holes. Nine measuring ranges are available from 0 ... 0.5 kN to 0 ... 200 kN.

Application / UseDesigned for medium tensile and compression force measurement in heavy-duty environments as well as laboratory and test applications. Apply loads concentrically to the central axis and avoid unaccounted lateral loads greater than ±2.5°; use mechanical decoupling when needed.
