Description

Product description
This slim, pen-like piezoelectric sensor measures dynamic and quasistatic tensile and compression forces on a single axis. It is designed for small-force ranges up to ±500 N, with an input threshold below 1 millinewton thanks to a highly sensitive transversal measuring element. The sealed housing and axial thread on the shaft allow direct installation into structures; force is applied at the front. The sensor outputs a charge proportional to the applied force (piezoelectric principle). Caution: this is a very sensitive measuring instrument.
