This miniature piezoelectric compression force sensor (model 9313AA1) is designed for dynamic and quasistatic force measurement in compact industrial installations. The sensor is preloaded and supplied with practical mounting adaptation options for immediate integration. Its piezoelectric charge output requires a measuring amplifier or charge converter for conversion to a process signal. The square sensor body and axial threaded bores at both ends enable flexible axial force introduction and simplify special mounting situations. Tensile forces up to 10% of the compression range can be measured (not calibrated) and are typically used to detect tool withdrawal forces after press-fitting.

How it works
