Product description
The 9047C is a triaxial piezoelectric ring force sensor designed to measure force components in any direction independently of the load application point. One quartz ring per axis provides high-resolution measurement of Fx, Fy and Fz. Its flattened sides allow precise alignment and mounting. The stiff, vibration-resistant design with a high natural frequency supports dynamic force testing and high-bandwidth measurement. Ceramic contact discs provide electrical insulation and a high friction coefficient for mass-isolated installation. Shear-range magnitude in X and Y depends on Z-preload and resulting axial static friction. Signals are routed via the design-protected 3‑pole V3 neg. connector with a positioning aid to prevent misalignment and twisting.
