Product description Dip moulding is a process in which a heated mould is introduced into a tank of liquid PVC plastisol. The PVC adheres to the mould and, once fixed, forms the cap. Length can be produced to any required size and wall thickness is adjustable by the number of immersions.

Material & properties

• Material: PVC plastisol (phthalate-free).
• Shore hardness: A 70° ±5° (other ranges available on request).
• Operating temperature: -15° to 60° C.
• Standard colours: Black (UV-protected), Yellow, Red.
• Black standard parts include UV protection suitable for outdoor exposure.

Options

• Other Shore ranges available: 50–90°.
• FDA-certified parts available on request.
• Special vinyl material to meet UL94 available on request.
