Product DetailsThe captive screw retainer flange is an alternative to either tapping the panel or using a retainer washer. The retainer flange is fixed to the panel by swaging the head into a countersunk hole. The captive screw is then simply threaded through the flange and is retained in the panel. The flanges are made from either Stainless Steel which has good corrosion resistance or Aluminium, which has good thermal conductivity.
