The Excelitas SPCM-AQRH-TR belongs to a timing-optimized generation of Single-Photon Counting Modules (SPCM) designed for high-resolution time-correlated measurements. The module integrates a specially selected SLiK silicon avalanche photodiode (APD) delivering timing resolution below 250 ps and peak photon detection efficiency above 75% at 650 nm over a 180 µm active diameter. The family supports gated output operation with a single +5 V supply and RoHS compliance.

Description
The SPCM-AQRH-TR series uses a selected SLiK silicon APD optimized for timing performance while preserving key detector characteristics such as uniformity, overload protection and temperature stability. Some parameters (for example afterpulse probability) are traded to achieve sub-250 ps timing; nonetheless the modules keep the linearity and operational stability required for quantitative TCSPC and FLIM measurements.
