Product OverviewThe VTA1216H-H-NC-00-0 is a silicon photodiode array (PDA) with 16 elements at 1.2 mm pitch, engineered for X-ray detection in energy-sensitive imaging systems. It is available with optional scintillator crystals for high-energy detection and can be paired with VTA1216H-L Series arrays for low-energy channels.
Detailed DescriptionThe VTA1216H Series comprises a 16-channel high-resolution photodiode array. Eight dual-element photodiodes are mounted on an FR-4 PCB. A transparent coating protects the photosensitive die area and a glob top encapsulant secures bond wires against mechanical and environmental stress. The device may be supplied with or without a scintillator material placed over the active photodiode area to convert X-rays into visible photons.
Features- Extremely low dark current photodiodes
- High signal-to-noise ratio suitable for energy-sensitive detection
- Optional scintillator crystals to convert incident X-rays to visible photons
- 16 channels with 1.2 mm pitch
- Compatible with single- and dual-energy system architectures
ApplicationsIntended for X-ray detection modules in medical imaging (radiography, CT), security scanning and industrial inspection systems where high-energy or dual-energy detection is required and pairing with low-energy arrays (e.g., VTA1216H-L Series) is advantageous.
