Overview
The Excelitas SPCM-NIR is a single-photon counting module optimized for the near-infrared spectrum. It is engineered for applications requiring enhanced NIR sensitivity such as long-range LiDAR, quantum communication, and microscopy.

Description
The module integrates a specially selected SLiK silicon avalanche photodiode (APD) delivering peak single-photon detection efficiency typically >73% with uniform response across a 180 µm diameter active area. SPCM-NIR provides improved red/NIR sensitivity while retaining key performance characteristics of the SPCM-AQRH platform including uniformity, overload protection, temperature stability and linear response at high count rates.
