Product overviewThe VTA1616H-H-SC-01-0 is a linear photodiode array (PDA) designed for X-ray detection and integration in single- or dual-energy imaging systems. The device features 16 single-element photodiodes at a 1.6 mm pitch and is available with an optional CsI HE scintillator for high-energy conversion.
Series descriptionThe VTA1616H Series provides a high-resolution 16-channel PDA. Each sensor comprises 16 individual photodiodes mounted on an FR-4 printed circuit board (PCB). Standard pitch for this configuration is 1.6 mm; alternate pitches can be supplied as standard variants or custom builds to match system requirements.
Protection and scintillator optionsThe photodiode elements are protected by a molded, X-ray radiation-hard transparent encapsulant to ensure environmental and mechanical robustness. Scintillator materials are available optionally and can be mounted directly over the photodiode active area to convert incident X-rays to visible photons (e.g., CsI HE for high-energy detection).
Key features- Extremely low dark current photodiodes
- High signal-to-noise ratio for improved image fidelity
- Optional scintillator crystals on demand (e.g., CsI HE)
- 16 channels with 1.6 mm pitch
- Compatible with single- and dual-energy detection architectures; pairs with VTA1616H-L Series for low-energy detection
