Product overview The Excelitas EXACTD® platform is developed for Laser Warning Receiver (LWR) systems to detect and deliver precise angle-of-arrival (AoA) information from direct and scattered laser emissions originating from rangefinders, target designators and active electro-optic systems. The compact TO-8 module integrates Si and InGaAs detector arrays to extend spectral coverage while providing encoded AoA output suitable for airborne and defense sensor integration.
Key details The EXACTD-362 uses a 6-bit Gray code to encode incident AoA, achieving an angular resolution of ±0.8° in either azimuth or elevation depending on module orientation, across a ±45° field of view. Combined Si and InGaAs detectors yield a spectral sensitivity from 500 to 1650 nm in a TO-8 package with separate low- and high-sensitivity channels for wide dynamic range.
Features & Benefits - Spectral sensitivity range: 500–1650 nm (Si + InGaAs)
- 6-bit Gray code encoding for ±0.8° AoA accuracy in azimuth or elevation
- Field of view (FOV): ±45° for azimuth and elevation
- Low- and high-sensitivity channels to cover wide dynamic range
- Three reference channels per array for baseline signal monitoring
Applications Intended for Laser Warning Receiver systems and other electro-optic sensor assemblies requiring high-precision AoA data from laser rangefinders, target designators and active EO systems; suited for integration in airborne, naval and ground defense sensor suites.
