OverviewThe VTA1616H-L-NC-00-0 is a silicon photodiode array (Si PDA) with 16 elements and a 1.6 mm pitch, engineered for X-ray detection in industrial imaging and non-destructive testing. It is available with optional scintillator crystals for low-energy conversion and can be paired with the VTA1616H-H series for high-energy channels in dual-energy detection architectures.
DetailsThe VTA1616H Series comprises 16 single-element photodiodes mounted directly on an FR-4 printed circuit board. The 1.6 mm sensor-to-sensor pitch provides a balance of spatial resolution and channel density; other pitches are available as standard or custom options. The assembly is protected by a molded, X-ray radiation-hard transparent encapsulant for environmental resilience. Devices are offered with or without a scintillator mounted over the photodiode active area to convert X-rays into visible photons.
