Product overviewThe VTA2516H-H-NC-00-0 is a silicon photodiode array (Si PDA) for X-ray detection, featuring 16 single-element channels at 2.5 mm pitch. It is available with optional scintillator crystals for high-energy applications and can be integrated into dual-energy detection architectures alongside VTA2516H-L Series arrays for low-energy detection.
Detailed descriptionThe VTA2516H Series comprises 16-channel, high-resolution photodiode arrays with individual photodiode elements mounted on an FR-4 printed circuit board (PCB). The standard sensor-to-sensor spacing for this model is 2.5 mm; other pitches are available as standard or custom options. A molded, X-ray radiation-hard transparent encapsulant protects the active area and electronics. Scintillator materials can be supplied mounted over the photodiode active areas to convert incident X-rays into visible photons.
