Product OverviewThe VTH2110 is a 25 mm² silicon photodiode supplied in chip form for optimized alpha-particle detection, including radon gas monitoring. The device features a radiation-resistant chip design and a large 5 × 5 mm active area, delivering enhanced response to relevant radiation. The photodiode exhibits low capacitance and a spectral response from 400 nm to 1100 nm.
Series InformationThis chip-form photodiode series is engineered for high responsivity to alpha particles by eliminating window absorption and maximizing active collection area. The large area improves collection of low-level radiation. A related model, the VTH2120, provides a 10 × 10 mm active area.
