OverviewExcelitas offers a range of fiber optic light sources and components that deliver high light output with configurable options to simplify OEM integration and accelerate time to market. These LED light sources couple high-intensity white light into fiber-optic bundles for applications such as endoscopy, surgical headlamps, surgical microscopy, industrial borescopes, inspection systems, and machine vision.
Microscopy, machine vision and borescope solutionsFor the microscopy, machine vision and borescope markets, complete fiber optic light source solutions are available including dimming controls with an on/off switch, power supply and optional fiber optic adapters depending on the fiber used. Integration modules are offered: OTFI-0050 (light source module) and OTFI-0075 (light source module with electronics).
Endoscopy, surgical headlamps and surgical microscopy solutionsFor OEM integration into endoscopy, surgical headlamps and surgical microscopy systems, Fiber Optic Light Source Modules (OTFI-0200 Series) are available. These modules provide light output equivalent to a Xenon lamp and high color rendering in a compact footprint, enabling light and camera systems to be combined into one enclosure to save space and reduce cost. The OTFI-0200 family offers two selectable intensity levels or a high-CRI version. Each configuration is available with or without electronics to support different dimming methods and RS-232 communication.
