OverviewCermax VQ metal-body parabolic Xenon lamps are designed for medical lighting applications requiring stable color rendering and a compact optical source. The VQ series delivers a broad spectral output suitable for visible, UV and IR use and is commonly applied in surgical and diagnostic illumination systems.
Product detailsCermax VQ Xenon lamps are short-arc, metal-body lamps with an integrated parabolic reflector and metal-to-sapphire and ceramic seal construction. The compact reflector-body design provides a small, collimated, high-intensity source that offers flexibility for downstream optics and beam shaping in medical luminaires.
Output filtering can be applied to select visible, UV (<390 nm) or IR (>770 nm) bands depending on application requirements. Standard Cermax parabolic reflector metal-body lamps operate in the 300–400 W range with a common nominal power of 300 W.
