Description

Overview
The AIMS® (Advanced Intelligent Monitoring System) provides real-time performance monitoring and centralized diagnostics for LightHammer® Mark II and Mark III microwave UV curing installations. Designed for industrial production lines, AIMS® supports Industry 4.0 data acquisition and helps reduce downtime through proactive alerts and maintenance tracking.

Core functionality
AIMS® acquires and displays critical operating parameters from connected LightHammer® UV curing systems in configurable dashboard formats (graph, gauge, summary). Operators and process engineers can monitor live data on a PC, receive email alerts for warnings and faults, and track consumable part lifecycles for maintenance planning. The system supports simultaneous monitoring of up to 30 LightHammer® 10 Mark II/Mark III power supplies.

Features
  • Real-time production monitoring to support process control and product consistency.
  • Support for up to 13 primary irradiators in Primary/Secondary mode and up to 30 power supplies via user-friendly software.
  • Logging of 24–36 selectable system metrics (including magnetron current and voltage, photocell voltage, component operating hours) with 15, 30 or 60-second intervals.
  • On-screen display of up to six user-selectable metrics simultaneously (graph, gauge, or summary/table views).
  • Configurable email alerts for warnings/faults and scheduled summary reports.
  • Remote access and multi-plant comparison capabilities depending on IT infrastructure.
  • Preventive maintenance support with operating-hours tracking for magnetrons, bulbs and reflectors to minimize downtime and scrap.

Documentation
A brochure is available: AIMS Real-time Performance Monitoring for Microwave UV Curing Systems Brochure.

  • Adhesive bonding
  • Automotive components
  • Converting web coatings
  • Metal decorating and coating
  • Glass decorating
  • Medical device marking and coating
  • Electronic components
  • Plastic decorating
  • Optical fiber coating

Additional details
AIMS® delivers detailed data visualization through customizable dashboards. Each recorded data point can include minimum, maximum, mean and standard deviation values. The system can generate a timestamped data file daily and optionally email files automatically. From a single curing head to a fully networked array, AIMS® provides a unified interface for metric tracking and streamlined diagnostics across the entire installation.
