OverviewThe FiberLight D2 lamp system is a compact UV-Vis light source that combines a deuterium lamp and a 0.25 W tungsten lamp to deliver a continuous spectrum from vacuum UV to near-infrared. It is designed for mobile spectroscopy and compact or handheld instruments where low power consumption, fast switching and simple fiber coupling are required.
Detailed descriptionThe FiberLight D2 System integrates a deuterium lamp, a 0.25 W tungsten lamp, a shutter, an optical assembly and an SMA 905 output on a single PCB. Both lamps and the shutter are controllable independently via TTL signals. The unit requires an external 12 VDC / 600 mA supply. Its PCB-mounted design, low heat dissipation and instant ON/OFF stability make it suitable for space-constrained, portable or battery-driven instruments.
