Product descriptionCompact Cermax ME and VQ metal-body elliptical Xenon short-arc lamps designed for high-intensity, focused illumination in instrumentation and medical applications. The lamps feature a precision-cut internal elliptical f/1.0 reflector and metal-to-sapphire and ceramic seal construction, providing a compact alternative to conventional quartz-bubble Xenon lamps and recommended for new Xenon illumination designs.
Optical and performanceCermax ME lamps use an integrated elliptical (f/1.0) reflector to deliver concentrated, high-luminance output. Two reflector options enable optical tailoring of beam distribution for specific applications. The Xenon source offers a broad spectrum and can be filtered to emit visible, UV (<390 nm) or IR (>770 nm) output according to the application. Standard metal-body elliptical Xenon lamps have operating power ranges from 300 to 1,600 Watts, with common nominal models at 300 W.
